Walk to Cure Arthritis is an event hosted by the Arthritis Foundation, which AOII has partnered with since 1967. Whether it be through patient education or making major advancements in arthritis research, the Arthritis Foundation has been at the forefront of this fight. Through the Walk, the Foundation aims to raise awareness for the over 54 million Americans living with arthritis. The goal is to: Give 54. Tell 54. Move 54 (steps, minutes, however you want to interpret it).
On Saturday May 22, Phi Chis walked and raised $3,202.
This Valentine's Day, instead of being able to sell roses to the UChicago community in the Reynold's Club, we sold Valentine's postcards over social media. People could purchase these cards for friends and family, filling out a Google form with the note they want to send. AOIIs then worked to write these cards and mail them to recipients across the US.
